IMPORTANT EPORTFOLIO & EXHIBITION UPDATES
CLASS OF 2020 SENIOR PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION
Seniors MUST upload the following:
1) Senior Reflective Essay plus All Previous Year Reflections
2) Completed Top Ten Reading List & Reflections
3) Two Social Expectations Recommendations (Should have a total of 8--each from a different teacher)
Failure to complete all the above items will prohibit a student from receiving a Lincoln High School diploma.
EXHIBITION MAY 2020 UPDATE
EXHIBITION MAY 2020 REMOTE LEARNING
1) Presentations will be scheduled and take place between May 18-May 29th. Student presentations will be presented to and scored by their Exhibition classroom teachers. Exhibition teachers will provide each student a presentation date. Any student wishing to present before May 18th may do so with the approval of the classroom teacher.
2) The following Binder items may be eliminated:
a) Letter to the Judges
b) Mentor materials (all)
c) Signatures--Student and parent signatures are still required. We
will waive any required Mentor signature
3) Final Binders--Students do not have to create a Final Binder for judges since classroom teachers have access to all materials in the individual student folders. STUDENTS MUST STILL SUBMIT ALL WORK INTO THEIR WORK FOLDERS.
4) Applications of learning: For any project where the student is having difficulty completing the application because of the COVID-19 conditions, try one of the following:
a) Redirect student to a new medium. Planning/Hosting an event that
planned to educate and reform could do so virtually
b) Have student present a well-develop plan of action based on
research that would take place if the situation was normal
5) Presentations will be conducted on the ZOOM format. (Teachers have discretion to use another format that they find more user-friendly)
6) As usual, any student who does not meet standard on their presentation will conference with Mr. Dalpe to devise a plan to meet the Exhibition requirement.
